Title : Impact of collective group action on poverty reduction and in advancing “Right to development as a human right”

The study assessed the role of civil society in fostering the growth of self-help groups and resource group to realize the ‘Right to Development as a Human Right’ for the poor. It also tried to gauge how broadening of sustainable livelihood options serves to break the vicious circle of poverty. The project entailed assessment of factors both endogenous and exogenous that contribute to enhancement in access to all forms of capital leading to greater food security and access to education and health services, all of which in turn contribute to reduction in poverty.
Title : Concurrent evaluation of SJSRY

The objective of the assignment is to evaluate the benefits accrued to beneficiaries through the Swarn Jayanti Shehri Rojgar Yojna across nine sample states across India. Parivartan was engaged in analysis of all data collected and presentation of key findings as well as in collection of data in three states namely Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Delhi.
Title : Mid-term Evaluation of Micro-Watershed Projects under NWDPRA

Under the NWDPRA scheme of Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, mid-term evaluation studies were conducted by Parivartan in 16 micro-watershed development projects in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh on behalf of TERI, New Delhi.

This was essentially a Rapid Assessment aimed at assessing the programmatic impact of intervention on nutrition and health status of women and children in Kanker district of Chattisgarh and in Raibareilly district of Uttar Pradesh as well as to provide regular feedback on programmatic issues.
